The application shows a temperature measurement of a freshly injected plastic component. Incorrect temperatures in the process lead to poor quality and even failure of the component. By determining the temperature, errors can be detected at an early stage. The evaluation takes place via a PC with the Halcon library.
The system structure consists of a thermal imaging camera with special optics. The working distances and fields of view are tailored to the task and can be adjusted for similar applications.
